Deepika Had her schooling from Sophia High School in Bangalore. She did her studies from Mount Carmel College. While is high school, she was a member of her father’s badminton academy and played state level tournments. She wasn’t so keen on pursuing her career in the game as a result she abondoned it. While pursuing her studies in college, she decided to take a plunge into modeling. Over the years, she has modeled for many international products and became a super model. She won many awards as a model. Some of the famous brands she modeled were Liril, Dabur Lal powder, Close-Up toothpaste, Limca, was made as Maybelline international spokesperson, was made as the brand ambassador of Kingfisher Airlines, Levi Strauss and Tissot SA.

After her successful modeling career, she decided to jump into movie field, in Bollywood films. Her first film was a Kannada film titled “Aishwarya” opposite Kannada actor “Upendra” in 2006. In 2007, she tasted a big hit with the film “Om Shanti Om” opposite Bollywood Badshah Shah Rukh Khan. She was heavily in the news during the ICC Twenty20 world cup linked to both Indian One day Cricket captain and Vice captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni and Yuvraj Singh respectilvely. Recently, she has been linked to Ranbir Kapoor of “Sawaria” fame. She has definitely got what it takes to get to the top of Bollywood. But only that the media is overhyping her.
